Austin College, Sherman, Texas. Commencement: May 13 at 8:30 a.m., Clyde Hall Graduation Court. The speaker will be Commander Stan Fornea, chaplain for the White House Military Office, Washington. The baccalaureate service will be May 12 at 7 p.m. at the Robert T. Mason Athletic/Recreation Complex. The Rev. Dr. Robert Crilley of First Presbyterian Church of Grapevine, Texas, will deliver the sermon. Fornea and Crilley will receive honorary doctoral degrees, along with the Rev. Carroll L. “Bud” Pickett, Austin College Class of 1954.

The keynote speaker will be American mezzo-soprano Delores Bowen Ziegler, a 1973 Maryville College graduate. Ms. Ziegler will be awarded an honorary degree. Muskingum University, New Concord, Ohio. The undergraduate baccalaureate service will be Saturday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at the Recreation Center. Baccalaureate speakers will be: William T. Dentzer Jr. ’51, a Muskingum University trustee and founding chairman and chief executive officer of The Depository Trust Company; and Celia Hill Dentzer ’52, who was born in India to missionary parents and says her early years shaped her lifelong commitment to the Presbyterian Church. Commencement will be 1:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center. The speakers will be: Nikhil Deogun ’91, senior vice president and editor-in-chief for business news at CNBC and previously deputy managing editor at The Wall Street Journal; and Dr. Allison Kimmich ’91, executive director of the National Women’s Studies Association, an international network that promotes professional development, research and advocacy initiatives that support women’s studies.

University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, Ark. Commencement will be May 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the campus mall. The keynote speaker will be Dr. R. Brent Thomas, professor of biology at Emporia State University and a University of the Ozarks alumnus (1991).

Whitworth University, Spokane, Wash. Whitworth University’s 122nd undergraduate commencement ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 13, at 4 p.m. in the Spokane Arena. The keynote speaker will be Jenna Lee Nardella, a 2004 Whitworth alumna and executive director of Blood:Water Mission, a nonprofit founded by the Christian band Jars of Clay that raises awareness and funds for the provision of clean water to help address the HIV/AIDS crisis in sub-Saharan Africa.

Brown Professor of Theology, Austin Seminary, will deliver the sermon, and celebrants will be the Rev. Dr. Lewis Donelson, the Ruth Campbell Professor of New Testament, Austin Seminary, and the Rev. Jackie Saxon, vice president for student affairs. The commencement service will be May 20 at 2:30 p.m. at University Presbyterian Church, Austin. The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Blair R. Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Ga. Columbia Theological Seminary’s 2012 baccalaureate service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Columbia Presbyterian Church, adjacent to the seminary in Decatur. Sister Margarita Martin, director of Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will preach the baccalaureate sermon. Commencement is at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Recipients of awards and fellowships will be announced during the commencement service.

Dubuque Theological Seminary, University of Dubuque, Iowa. Commencement will be May 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dubuque. Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh. A service of thanksgiving will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in Hicks Memorial Chapel at the seminary. The Rev. Dr. Susan Kendall, director of the doctor of ministry program at the seminary, will preside. The 216th commencement ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, June 1, at East Liberty Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Robert M. Franklin, president of Morehouse College, will officiate.

San Francisco Theological Seminary, San Francisco. San Francisco Theological Seminary will hold two graduation ceremonies for the class of 2012. The first commencement service is May 12 in Pasadena for graduates from the SFTS Southern California campus, which closes this spring after 21 years. SFTS will celebrate all 2012 graduates on May 19 in San Anselmo starting at 9:30 a.m. on Bouick Field. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Kang and Dr. Chang Bok Chung will be honored as the 2012 distinguished alumni.

Union Presbyterian Seminary, Richmond, Va. The seventh commencement exercises of Union Presbyterian Seminary, Charlotte campus, were scheduled for April 21 at 10 a.m. at Sharon Presbyterian Church, Charlotte, N.C. The scheduled speaker was the Rev. Dr. Rob Blumer, pastor of Sharon Presbyterian Church, Charlotte. The 200th commencement exercises of Union Presbyterian Seminary, Richmond campus, will be June 2 at 10 a.m. at Ginter Park Presbyterian Church, Richmond,.The speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Lewis F.
