The highlight of the evening came when The Outlook’s associate editor for print and online content, Jana Blazek, went to the front to receive the Best in Class Award of Excellence for the Outpost blog. The Outpost blog is written by young PC(USA) pastors who reflect on a wide variety of topics. This award highlights the depth and quality of their work.

Additionally, at the Associated Church Press annual meeting Blazek was elected to serve a three-year term on the Associated Church Press board. Blazek was asked to serve in recognition of her dedication and her talents, particularly in the area of online content. The ACP hopes to enhance their continue education efforts through the use of webinars, a medium in which Blazek has extensive experience and a proven track record.
