Transitional executive presbyter

Presbytery of the Cascades, with 90+ congregations and worshiping communities in portions of Washington and Oregon, seeks applicants for the position of transitional executive presbyter. This individual will provide executive leadership and pastoral encouragement to the presbytery’s mission and ministry while preparing the way for the future executive presbyter. They will give particular focus to service as the pastoral leader, consultant, coach, healer, and encourager to congregations and their ministry leaders. They will serve as head of staff to the presbytery staff. The position is open to ruling elders and ministers of the Word and Sacrament for a term of two years with possible extensions.
