Located at the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers, Marietta First Presbyterian Church seeks an installed pastor to lead a theologically diverse, spiritually growing, mission-minded congregation. Our mid-sized church membership generously supports its work through donations and substantial earmarked endowments. Although we already support all PC(USA) Special Offerings and select local charities, we need strategic help to better meet our community needs. In turn, we offer our pastor our eager willingness to work. We are a friendly, music-loving (three choirs and a bell choir) church and town, where members and residents warmly greet each other and enjoy the city’s rich history, red-bricked streets, and cultural offerings.
