First Presbyterian Church of Naples, Florida, seeks a senior pastor. We are a vibrant, established church with a strong local mission focus and growing children and youth ministry. As we approach our 75th anniversary in 2027, we seek a leader who will help us envision and live into our next 75 years.
We seek an energetic and powerful preacher with the ability to communicate a deep understanding of reformed theology, inspire and challenge the congregation, and possess the wisdom to interpret the intersection of faith and modern life. This leader must have strong leadership skills, including the ability to supervise and empower a dedicated church staff.
The congregation is in a strong and stable place. We seek someone who will continue to keep the ship steady while helping us be open to the movement of the Spirit. We seek someone who lives out their faith in addition to teaching it. With God’s help, we seek someone who is compassionate, caring, full of joy and excitement, who has a good sense of humor, as well as strong leadership skills. Being a “big tent church” we are seeking a pastor who can support all generations and meet people where they are.
