The Reverend Stan Farthing accepted a call from the venerable Augusta Stone Church in Fort Defiance, Virginia, and began work on August 1. He and the church are eager to continue God’s work in the 21st century in the Shenandoah Valley, one of the jewels of Creation in terms of both the land and the people. He is grateful to the people of the Zetta church, Churchville, Virginia, for welcoming, encouraging and, indeed, training him over the last 18 years. He also recalls with gratitude his service on the staff of the Outlook more than 20 years ago.
