The universe is God's, Who framed the whole Creation,

All praises be to God, Who made the constellations.

The distant space reveals, An outline and intent,

Faint blueprint of a plan, Its wonder and extent.

The universe is God’s, Who framed the whole Creation,

All praises be to God, Who made the constellations.

The distant space reveals, An outline and intent,

Faint blueprint of a plan, Its wonder and extent.

Our Voyagers explore The planets’ farthest reaches,

We survey spiral arms, Through interstellar searches.

We look for your first light,  And probe the ancient stars,

Our telescopes are poised, To find out who we are.

Our home, the Milky Way, So massive yet so fragile;

Two hundred billion stars, Still heaven’s smallest cradle.

Far light years out in time, The primal clusters form,

It is where we began, From space dust we are born.

O who is like our God, The sculptor of the heavens,

The One both near and far, To whom our love is given?

We see back far in time, To view the cosmic strands,

The comets and our minds, Are made by the same hands.
