Donald G. Campbell, director of the Congregational Ministries Division of the General Assembly Council in Louisville, Ky., 1999-2006, has been named as the interim executive presbyter of Mission Presbytery, with offices in San Antonio, Texas.
He begins the 18-24-month assignment March 1. Stated Clerk Miles White, has agreed to serve as the presbytery’s acting head of staff should the need arise during January and February.
Don Campbell is a graduate of Princeton Seminary and earned his doctor of ministry degree from Pittsburgh Seminary. He has several Pennsylvania churches as served as assistant pastor, associate pastor, or pastor. He is a former associate executive presbyter of the Presbytery of New Brunswick in the Trenton, N.J.area, and former executive presbyter of the Presbytery of Donegal (Lancaster, Pa., area).
He and his wife Diane have three adult children and five grandchildren.
