(PNS) The Commission on Presidential Debates has announced the locations of next year’s three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate. They are University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss., on Sept. 26; Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 7; and Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., on Oct. 15. The vice presidential debate will be at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., on Oct. 2.
Centre College in Danville, Ky., which hosted a vice presidential debate in 2000, was selected along with Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., as an alternate site, should one of the chosen campuses be unable to host its event.
