Leading Methodist seminary to train rabbis, imams, too.
The Claremont School of Theology, a leading seminary affiliated with the United Methodist Church will begin formal training of Jewish rabbis and Muslim imams, starting this fall. The UMC, which funds 8% of Claremont’s $10-million budget, has suspended its support of the school, pending an investigation.
