LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Christine Coy Fohr has been named to Presbyterian World Mission’s newly created position of consultant for mission leaders. She will serve primarily as a liaison with local mission leaders in the United States.
Fohr previously served as interim director of Christian education and community outreach of Highland Presbyterian Church in Louisville. She is a native of Owensboro, Ky., and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Hunter Farrell, director of World Mission, called Fohr “a perfect fit” for the new position in his agency.
“She has the education and experience that help her reach out with compassion, knowledge and understanding to congregation mission leaders, pastors, and mission network leaders,” Farrell said. “She can help make the links between them that further our mission and work in the world.”
