Presbyterian Women all across the church traditionally celebrate a Birthday Offering and take up a special mission collection. The
Presbyterian Church in Kingsville, Texas, took time to explain the history of the offering and include it in their newsletter. It began in 1922 and one of the first collections went to Miss Dowd’s School for Girls in Kochi, Japan. Through the years, Presbyterian Women have given more than $29 million in support of mission projects in the world.
