Hope4CE – Columbia Seminary professor Kathy Dawson’s blog includes innovative ideas about Christian education, including some Advent suggestions. Check out this post, which includes a child-friendly Christmas participation story written by Paul Osborne and used by many grateful churches through the last 20 years.

Worshiping with Children – Carolyn Brown’s blog on ideas for children in worship is a goldmine. Look for weekly worship ideas searchable by date or Scripture, as well as topical ideas for Advent and other seasons.

Illustrated Children’s Moments – PC(USA) pastor and artist Adam Walker Cleaveland has just produced “An Illustrated Advent” in both church and family editions. His offering includes children’s sermon ideas, coloring sheets, family Advent devotions and calendars, and a great alternative to elves on shelves called “Flat Wisemen.”
