The Presbyterian Church of the Suislaw in Florence, Oregon, observes the holidays. But once a month they keep things from getting dull by throwing in a new one. On “Brother and Sister Day” congregation members are encouraged to call a sibling and do something together or just talk long distance. They also observe “Skip the Diet Day.” This church apparently has a lot of fun, and they are growing.
