Lord of all that is, seen and unseen, we remember today those struggling to pick up the pieces after the destruction of tornadoes and storms. We mourn with those who grieve the death of loved ones. We sit and wait with those unsure of the fate of family and friends. We weep with those reeling from the loss of homes and property. Comfort your people, O Lord. May they know your steadfast love even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. May they feel upheld by our prayers and care not only today but in the difficult days ahead. Amen.
