The text is inspired by the Revised Common Lectionary readings.

Revised Common Lectionary
The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) is an ecumenical resource for fostering a shared worship. It draws on older lectionaries, particularly the Roman Catholic Lectionary and the Consultation on Common Texts (CCT), to offer a three-year cycle of readings. Each year covers the Old Testament, Psalms, Epistles, and Gospels. It aims to encourage a more consistent approach to Scripture readings, fostering greater unity among Christian traditions while honoring diverse worship practices.
