Foundation President Leech’s re-election confirmed

The 216th General Assembly Wednesday evening confirmed the re-election Presbyterian Church (USA) Foundation president Robert Leech.

Leech was elected by foundation trustees to a second four-year term at their spring meeting.


A resident of Louisville and a lifelong Presbyterian, Leech worked for 30 years in the banking industry before joining the foundation.

The foundation distributed $69.1 million to ministry, down from $78.2 million in 2002 and $72.7 million in 2001. At the end of 2003, its assets totaled $1.1 billion, up from $977.5 million in 2002.
