The conference, which is aimed at helping writers produce marketable articles or books, develop a freelance career, and “impact the world with their words,” will again feature the prolific Presbyterian author, Cecil Murphey. Full information is available on the guild’s Web site (presbywriters.org).
Keynoters, who will teach classes as well, are Cecil Murphey and Mike Brewer. The schedule will offer a total of 20 classes and a panel discussion on the writing life. There will be opportunity for one-on-one appointments with the instructors.
Classes will include information on basic manuscript preparation, writing devotions, writing fiction, writing personal experience and other types of articles, song writing, screen writing, stringing for Presbyterian publications, proposals, social networking, how to find a good agent and more.
