Julia Leeth, pastor of First Church in Lompoc, Calif., has announced her intention to stand for moderator, and the Presbytery of Santa Barbara has called a special meeting in June to vote on endorsing her.
Leeth formerly served as associate pastor of Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, Colo. She has served this year as chair of the Committee on Ministry for Santa Barbara Presbytery.
