The Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship points out, “Our Lord Jesus, a Jew, spoke Aramaic. So did his twelve disciples, but the first New Testament writings about Jesus were in Greek. Did you ever stop to think that translation has always been part of how the Gospel spreads?” They recently raised funds to print 30,000 copies of the first Arsi Oromo dialect New Testament. It is being distributed in Ethiopia. The gospel is on the move!
