(Outlook) Roy Howard, pastor of Saint Mark Presbyterian Church in North Bethesda, Maryland, and book editor for the Presbyterian Outlook, went on sabbatical and took a walk – a long walk.
In the spring of 2015, Howard embarked on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, a 500-mile path over the mountains and across northern Spain. This path has been worn by pilgrims since the 12th century – and for many of them, the journey was a transformative one. It was for Howard and he has written a book about his experience, “Walking in Love: My Journey Along the Camino de Santiago.” He details daily observations, encounters and the people with him who became his family across the many miles.
The Outlook congratulates Roy on the publication of this book and extends great gratitude for his faithful service to Jesus Christ and the Outlook publication.
