The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church proclaims: We are an inclusive family, loving, sharing and serving Christ.
Our membership includes people of all ages, ethnicities and sexual orientations to whom we minister through worship, church school, youth groups, music and mission programs.
Our church was instrumental in planning and opening a free clinic for the medically underserved in our county.
Forty-eight people have been commissioned as Stephen Ministers, a special way of loving and serving Christ.
We are at the core of a group that seeks to understand different religions in our community: Jews, Muslims, Baha’i, Mormons, Hindus and Buddhists. For 18 years we’ve held Thanksgiving Observances that recognize our faiths and enrich our community.
Over our church’s 35-year history, 14 people are attending or have graduated from seminaries. Twelve of them are now PC(USA) ministers.
Our inclusive church indeed loves, shares and serves Christ!
— Charles C. Hendricks, pastor emeritus
