FPC is a 73-member church in rural southeastern Oklahoma.
Our last installed pastor retired several years ago, so we rely on pulpit supply and a monthly visit from a commissioned ruling elder.
We are active in the community – both as volunteers and financial supporters – at the local food bank and thrift store, and are currently involved in an effort to establish a housing center for the area homeless.
Additionally, for the past 40 years the congregation has hosted an Easter sunrise service at a popular area state park. Each year we have between 50 and 60 locals and tourists attend this worship service.
FPC is a good example of a small church who knows what its ministry in the community is and continues to seek ways to be the voice, hands and feet of Christ within and outside its walls.
