What’s right about Woodhaven Presbyterian Church?

Woodhaven Presbyterian Church — Irving, Texas

WPC is engaged in international mission. In 2013, WPC began its partnership with the Synod of Syria-Lebanon. It has been a spiritually inspiring and rewarding experience to support and communicate with these courageous Christians who exemplify the love of Jesus toward all people in the midst of danger, suffering and loss during the Syrian conflict.

Woodhaven also donated to the Beirut Project Hope to repair residences damaged in the Beirut explosion in 2020.

In 2016, WPC expanded its international involvement by sponsoring Presbyterian mission co-workers John and Gwenda Fletcher in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After their retirement in 2018, WPC immediately joined as partners with mission co-workers Cobbie and Dessa Palm of the Philippines. This has been an awesome experience for the church, where the sponsor gains a tangible spiritual benefit by supporting those on the front lines of our faith. WPC also donated to Beirut Project Hope to repair residences damaged in the Beirut explosion in August 2020.
