In honor of Banned Books Week, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary student Luke Hillier reflects on Toni Morrison’s Sula, sharing the lessons the book taught him as a 17-year-old and teaches him today.
Luke Hillier is a "Quaker-curious" seminarian in Pittsburgh with plans to pursue healthcare chaplaincy after graduation. He grew up in Pataskala, Ohio and spent five years in Philadelphia working with a ministry of the Simple Way before returning to school.
