The Rev. Dr. Steffen Lösel is professor in the practice of systematic theology at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, where he has taught since 2002. He recently published a book on Mozart’s last opera seria, titled Theological Anthropology in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito: Sin, Grace, and Conversion. His first book, Kreuzwege: Ein ökumenisches Gespräch mit Hans Urs von Balthasar, engages the thought of Hans Urs von Balthasar from a Protestant perspective. He currently is finishing a theological commentary on the Johannine Letters in the New Testament.
