The Outlook is offering a kid-friendly, sensory-rich, intergenerational worship service for Christmas Eve. It was developed for use in a church setting but could easily be adapted for home or classroom use.These worship materials could easily be used in a variety of ways including:
- Sunday worship on Sunday, December 24
- Family worship on Christmas Eve afternoon or evening
- An activity to center your family, no matter the size and age, and focus on the story of Christmas in an accessible way
- A way to bring the holy into the day if your family decides to worship from home on Christmas Eve
This liturgy includes a call to worship, several hymn suggestions, a reader’s theater of the birth narratives from Matthew and Luke, prayers and activities.
