Dear Partner in Educational Ministry:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for using The Present Word adult Bible study in your educational program. I also want to invite you to join me in a mission opportunity.
For a number of years, the PC (U.S.A.) has produced Braille and audiocassette versions of The Present Word for those who are blind or otherwise visually impaired. This has been a free service to anyone who requested it.
Sadly, recent budget constraints forced the decision to suspend production of these resources. We have heard from a number of those who were greatly disappointed by their discontinuation. So, we are pleased to announce that a way has been found to restore these vital ministry resources.
Beginning later this year, The Present Word in Braille and on cassette will be available for sale by subscription to all who wish to purchase them (domestic only). They will once again be available on a quarterly basis. We hope that the cost will be nominal. But we need your help in keeping the costs low! (Many of our TPW Braille customers are on fixed incomes.)
We have established an Extra Commitment Opportunity account for Resources for Visually Impaired Persons – 051225. If you and your Bible study group are interested in helping to secure the future of the Braille and cassette resources for our brothers and sisters, I would encourage that you send a gift to this fund. If congregations contribute, they should send their checks to

Please notate all contributions with “Resources for Visually Impaired Persons — ECO 051225.”
So we depend on your partnership with us in resuming production. The sooner we hear from you and all our customers, the sooner we will be able to resume production. Thank you for your kind consideration.
Sincerely,
