A Presbyterian mother asked her 8-year-old son what they were learning in Sunday school. He answered, “We’re talking about the kings and we’ve gotten to David who got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had 300 wives and 500 porcupines. The teacher said he was wise, but that doesn’t sound very wise to me.”
