In early March, two South Carolina pastors announced they would stand for co-moderators of the 226th General Assembly. Rev. CeCe Armstrong, associate pastor of St. James Presbyterian Church on James Island in Charleston, part of Charleston-Atlantic Presbytery, and the Rev. Tony Larson, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Surfside Beach, which is in the Presbytery of New Harmony, joined forces to offer their skills and leadership to the PC(USA).
The Presbyterian Outlook contacted the team to see if they would introduce themselves to our followers and subscribers in a brief video.
We’ve been working hard to report on all the news coming to this summer’s General Assembly, including those standing for co-moderator. We will host a debate between candidates on June 6 where we ask in-depth questions. This video is just a brief introduction. Enjoy!
