Derry Church seeks a relational, collaborative, and intentional leader to serve as our full-time director of Christian education. This role provides leadership for faith formation and discipleship across all generations of the congregation, with particular focus on children and families.
The director of Christian education will help cultivate a connected, Christ-centered culture of learning and belonging through Sunday school, children’s programming, retreats, volunteer development, and intergenerational ministry. This position works closely with church staff, volunteers, committees, and families to strengthen communication, coordination, and collaboration across Christian education ministries.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about faith formation, gifted in building relationships, and able to balance vision with practical leadership. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, creativity, organizational strength, and a collaborative spirit to this work.
