Rev. Timothy B. Cargal, Ph.D., is associate director for ministry leadership development with the Office of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), where he has served since 2009. He previously served for two decades simultaneously in pastoral ministry and as a professor of biblical studies and languages on university and seminary faculties.
