Years ago, I taught the nursery Sunday school class in Pecos, Texas. I had a lifelike doll form my childhood that we always used it in the manger scene for the Joy Gift Program. We were practicing without the doll and one little girl asked, “Where is the baby Jesus?” To my horror my 3-year-old son answered, “We keep him in our closet, but we bring him out at Christmas.”
