Would you consider an end of year gift to the Outlook?

We are in the home stretch of 2017 and we at the Presbyterian Outlook are looking with excitement toward 2018. Plans are underway for our coverage of the 223rd General Assembly in St. Louis, a task force is working diligently to make recommendations to our board regarding our digital platforms and we’ve planned a series of celebrations to kick off the commemoration of our 200th year in ministry.

We are looking back in thanksgiving for the people who planted vineyards from which we now enjoy fruit and we look ahead with hope as we seek to plant and build for future generations.

This year we covered the painful events in Charlottesville, sought to raise awareness of the need to address #MeToo in the church and provided resources for Christian education, worship and preaching. We shared stories of what’s right in our churches, highlighted innovative ministries addressing homelessness and explored the relationship between our faith and global economics, science and technology. We have kept you up to date on the latest developments coming out of the Way Forward Commission, 2020 Vision, All Agency Review and more.
We’ve done all this through your generous support. Thank you.

As we prepare for what will be a pivotal year in our denomination, we are committed to being fair, diligent, present and responsive as we share with you the many aspects of our Presbyterian life together. Your financial support helps us to do just that. Please consider an end of the year gift to the Outlook as we celebrate our past and envision our future on the cusp of our 200th year of ministry. Click here to donate now.

I am grateful for the privilege of being in this role and serving Christ’s church through this work.

Grace and peace,
Jill Duffield
Editor, the Presbyterian Outlook
