In a fifth grade Sunday school class in Wisconsin, a young lass asked, “I know why we celebrate Christmas, but why do we stay up on New Year’s Eve?” The teacher thought a moment and answered, ”Well some stay up to see the new year in, and some stay up to be sure the old year leaves.”
