Prior to his death in 2023, William "Bill" Horton was a nationally recognized healthcare attorney in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a long-time member of Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served several terms as an elder, taught adult and youth Sunday school classes and served as president of the congregation.
