Daniel J. Ott

The Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Ott is professor of theology and vice president for academic affairs and academic dean at Union Presbyterian Seminary. Ott’s scholarly work explores liberal theologies, especially process and empirical theologies, abolitionist theology, and the theology of death. His articles and review articles have appeared in Theology Today, Political Theology, and the American Journal for Theology and Philosophy. He is co-author with Hannah Schell of Christian Thought in America: A Brief History.
