Dr. Jennifer L. Aycock is a poet by nature and a teacher-scholar in heart and mind. She is assistant professor of religion at James Madison University (Virginia) and visiting scholar at Zomba Theological University (Malawi). She also serves as director of communications for the American Society of Missiology. Before her academic career, she led college ministries and mentored students in France and the United States. She also enjoys serving as a lay preacher, learning how to garden, being a godmother, hosting dinner parties, and trying to keep up her French.
