Philip Butin concludes his nearly eight years as president of San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, Calif., on January 31. Jan Butin has been a member-at-large of Presbytery of the Redwoods while participating in the life of the seminary.
A farewell reception honoring the Butins for their service is scheduled for February 7, 7:30 p.m., in Alexander Hall on the San Anselmo campus. All interested persons are invited to attend, according to a seminary announcement. Â
