Meet Presbyterian Outlook Foundation board member: Millie Snyder

Millie is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and was raised in the Moravian Church. She graduated from Davidson College with honors in psychology and from Princeton Seminary with a concentration in preaching and worship. She was ordained to ministry in the PC(USA) in 1991 and has served as associate pastor of University Presbyterian Church in Rochester, Michigan, and pastor of MorningStar Presbyterian Church in Matthews, North Carolina.

Since 2004, she has served at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, as the executive pastor. In her role she oversees all ministry initiatives and supervises the associate pastors. She is married to Leif Aus and they have two young adult daughters, Clare and Linnea.

Millie has chaired the development committee on the board and continues to be an integral part of the Outlook Foundation’s fundraising efforts. Millie is organized, efficient and always finishes first in any timed board activity, even if it is not a competition. Her quick laugh, keen mind and willing spirit make every board gathering better. We are grateful for her service on the Presbyterian Outlook board.

The Presbyterian Outlook Foundation is governed by a board of 15 directors. The Presbyterian Outlook is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3), funded through subscription sales, ad sales and donations.
