Board of Pensions | Philadelphia
Why does the Board of Pensions exist, and why would anyone call us?
The Board of Pensions is one of six national agencies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We administer the church Benefits Plan and everything that goes with it — assistance grants, educational opportunities and programs such as CREDO.
Congregations and other employers count on us to help them build benefits strategies in support of ministers and employees. And we dedicate 11 church consultants to doing that. These 11 are based throughout the country, so they can help out in person. (The pandemic has them working by phone, email and Zoom, but we expect them back on the road this fall.)
Developing benefits strategies is no easy task. PC(USA) employers have to balance resources and the provision of benefits. That’s why we’re here. That’s why they call us.
