New Year’s Prayer (1 Peter 2:5)

Poetry by Julia Crim

Wondrous Lamb,
Burden that I am,
I cling to You.
Unto Your joy,
Sacred Lamb,  I come
And lean,
Through all the perils of this world,
Into Your peace.
Beloved Lamb,
I am Yours.
Lift me, crush me,
Shape me forever
Into Your living stone.
